Ipl(Indian premier League) has always been in the news for drama and controversies, Its been referred as Indian paisa league by most of the fans and critics as there are millions of dollars invested. It changed the the way cricket is seen in india and throughout the world.4

It came under fire for many betting controversies, Spot fixing and other nonsensical controversies which could have been devastating for the sport image as the gentlemen game.

On 5 June 2013, Rajasthan Royals team co-owner Raj Kundra was questioned by the Delhi Police for alleged involvement in illegal betting. On 6 June 2013, Delhi Police claimed that he had confessed to them of placing bets on his IPL team through a bookie who was his friend. On 7 June 2013, Rajasthan Royals team management said that Raj Kundra would be suspended and all his shares in the team taken back if the charges against him of betting were proved.Because of this, he was suspended from the IPL by the BCCI on 10 June 2013.

Ipl Is full of drama Who can forget  SRK WANKHEDE BAN, 2012:
Bollywood star and KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan was banned from entering the Wankhede stadium for five years, after his scuffle with security guards. Four years later, he was given a clean chit.

Chennai and rajasthan royal were ban when their owners were under some serious allegations of betting scandals, and in recent news t was quite a shocker to learn about Arbaaz Khan’s involvement in IPL betting. The murky details of this scandal are only getting dirtier with each passing day. After Arbaaz Khan confessed to betting in IPL matches recently, the actor-producer has now admitted that there are seven other Bollywood celebrities involved in the betting racket.
