Supreme court of india has dismissed the petition which was put through, Seeking an independent investigation into the tragic death of actress sridevi.
The supreme court should have given a chance to the petitioner.If he had some valid points to put through, But looks like the petition wasn't strong enough to get accepted.
Sunil Singh argued in his plea that Sridevi was 5 feet 7 inches tall and the bathtub in which she drowned was only 5 feet long. Dubai Police said Sridevi died from drowning in the hotel bathtub “following the loss of consciousness” after a post-mortem analysis.
There was another argument that came up. There was a insurance of a whooping 240 crore in the name of sridevi in oman. which can be only encashed if the actress would have died in dubai.
The petitioner move to the top court after delhi court refused to entertain this case.
